hi lets be friends i know how you just download limewire and torrent and flash x2 and you can do it in black underlining!!!

when you select the character, there's a thing in selection settings where you can contract the selection area. try that, you probably got some of the background in the selection so shrinking it will make that disappear.
why not just draw in flash though? ps is raster-based and flash is vector based; anything drawn in ps would be all pixelated when you zoom in.
